Where to Watch, Read and Play Avatar in October 2026

This guide reflects availability as of October 13, 2026. It starts with the US and flags territory exceptions where reporting supports them. Streaming deals change, so check your service before planning a marathon.

The short version

• Avatar: The Last Airbender (animated): Paramount+, plus Netflix in the US
• The Legend of Korra: Paramount+
• Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender: Paramount+
• Avatar: Seven Havens: Paramount+, or SkyShowtime in its European markets from October 17
• Avatar: The Last Airbender (live action): Netflix

Paramount+

Paramount+ is the home of Avatar's animation. Paramount's December 2025 announcement made it the exclusive streaming home for Avatar Studios' animated projects, and it also carries the original series and The Legend of Korra.

Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender has streamed there worldwide since July 25. Avatar: Seven Havens, Book One: Survival is rolling out in batches. Episodes 1–3 are up, 4–6 arrive October 16, 7–9 on October 23 and the four-episode finale on October 30.

The Kids' Choice Awards on November 14, where Avatar has six nominations across four projects, streams on Paramount+ as well as airing live on CBS and Nickelodeon.

SkyShowtime and other territories

In SkyShowtime's European markets, Seven Havens streams exclusively on SkyShowtime from October 17, eight days after the Paramount+ launch. The SkyShowtime trailer did not list the countries. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the show streams on Paramount+ on the original schedule as Avatar: Die Sieben Häfen.

A fan wiki says the Avatar Aang film reached SkyShowtime in August. We have not found an official source for that, so check the service directly.

Netflix's role outside the US is less clear. A Nickelodeon press release this month still says both animated series stream on Paramount+ and Netflix, which may reflect other territories.

Netflix

Netflix streams its live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender, which is licensed from Paramount and not made by Avatar Studios. Season 1 (eight episodes) arrived in February 2024, and Season 2 (seven episodes, adapting Book Two: Earth) followed on June 25, 2026. The third and final season is set for 2027, with no exact date.

In the US, Netflix also carries the original animated series under a license that What's on Netflix reported in 2025 would run to about April 2027. The Legend of Korra left Netflix in the US on April 16, 2025, leaving Paramount+ as its US streaming home.

Discs

Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender comes to Blu-ray and DVD on November 3, 2026. A 4K Ultra HD edition follows on February 9, 2027, sold only as a SteelBook. The Blu-ray and 4K editions include a digital copy. No bonus features had been announced as of the September announcement, and reports disagree on the label.

Play

• Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is out on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The Standard Edition is $29.99, and the $49.99 Deluxe Edition adds the Year 1 Pass, whose fighters have no release dates yet. Switch 2 and physical editions are due later in 2026; a US Amazon listing shows October 28, but the publisher has not confirmed it. The Switch version launched without cross-play.
• Avatar: Realms Collide is a free-to-play strategy game on iOS, Android and PC through Google Play. Its "Glowworm's Ruse" server-vs-server pre-season runs through October 30.
• An Avatar Legends pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds adds Aang and Katara on October 14. The coverage we reviewed gives no price or full platform list.
• Magic: The Gathering's Avatar: The Last Airbender set came out in November 2025 on tabletop and MTG Arena. Hasbro says it is Magic's third best-selling set ever.
• Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game, from Magpie Games, is available in print and digital. Its Spirit World sourcebook heads to Kickstarter late this fall, and Beadle & Grimm's Roku-era boxed campaign, Voyage of the Unity, is now listed for 2027.
