The Avatar Legends Pack Is Out in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, with a Festival This Weekend

SEGA has launched the Avatar Legends Pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, adding Aang and Katara as racers. We first reported the pack on October 10.

Steam lists an October 13 release, the day Noisy Pixel and Final Weapon reported it available, while SEGA's own launch announcement is dated October 14.

The pack includes:

• Aang and Katara as playable characters
• The Gliding Air Vehicle
• The Lion Turtle Island course
• Six emotes per character (per Steam)
• Five new Avatar Legends-inspired music tracks

SEGA marks three of the tracks as jukebox only: "Lion Turtle Island: Intro," "Avatar Legends: Character Select" and "Avatar Legends: Results." The other two are "Lion Turtle Island" and "Lion Turtle Island: Final Lap."

On its own the pack costs $5.99, £4.99 or €5.99. It is also part of the Season Pass ($29.99, £24.99 or €29.99), and Digital Deluxe Edition owners get it automatically. Nintendo Life reported that SEGA billed it as the "final content drop" for Year One, and that SEGA has already confirmed a second year of content.

Players who skip the pack can still race online against Aang and Katara, including on Lion Turtle Island. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.

The Avatar Legends festival runs from Thursday, October 15 at 5 PM PT to Sunday, October 18 at 4:59 PM PT. SEGA's European release, via Cosmocover, lists it as Friday, October 16 to Sunday, October 18. Festival points unlock decals, gadgets and more.

No critic reviews are in yet: Metacritic shows none and a "tbd" user score, and Steam's nine user reviews are too few for a rating.
