Avatar: Seven Havens Characters Guide: Who's Who in Ellora

Last updated October 14, 2026.

Avatar: Seven Havens is set about 225 years after The Legend of Korra, in the walled haven of Ellora. Here's who's who after the first three episodes. The main section is spoiler-light; premiere twists sit in the spoiler zone at the bottom. For full actor credits, see our voice cast guide.

Pavi Voiced by Saheli Khan. A nine-year-old earthbender who lives on the outskirts of Ellora with her cat-monkey Geet. She has one leg, is kind to every creature she meets, and has spent her life hiding from the Bending Brigade. She is the new Avatar after Korra, in a world that fears the Avatar.

Nisha Voiced by Aishu Devan. Pavi's long-lost twin sister. Where Pavi is bubbly, Nisha is determined and guarded, and she badly wants to belong. Her cat-monkey companion is Ruhi.

Jae Voiced by Major Curda. An airbender and squad leader in Ellora's Bending Brigade, raised to see the Avatar as a threat. He becomes Pavi's mentor and friend. Curda has said he saw bits of Sokka, Katara, Bolin and Tenzin in him.

Karthik Voiced by Akshay Khanna. The airbending captain of Ellora's guard, a calm, rule-minded leader who takes a close interest in the twins.

Geet and Ruhi Both voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, the voice of Appa and Momo. The twins' cat-monkey companions are based on Bryan Konietzko's own cats.

The Brigade and the rest of Ellora - Daemin (Darren Barnet) is a member of Jae's squad. - Uki and Lan round out the squad, introduced in a pre-premiere clip. - Datu (Topher Ngo, per IGN) is Jae's boyfriend. - Commander Bountan leads the Brigade when the series begins. - Agam (Sakina Jaffrey) and Zi (Dianne Doan) are in the main cast, but Paramount+ hasn't described their roles yet.

Spoiler zone: what the premiere reveals - Pavi and Nisha are both the Avatar. It's the first time the cycle has produced two people at once, and neither twin remembers her early childhood. - Karthik has secretly trained Nisha for three years, and he belongs to the Order of the White Lotus, which now protects the twins. Jae joins the Order to help train them. - Karthik becomes commander of the Brigade after Bountan is hurt fighting a strange energy entity, which Variety reads as a version of Vaatu. - The twins' mother sang them a lullaby that Pavi still plays on her kalimba, and the sisters set out to find their parents.
