Avatar Aang Opens as Paramount+'s Top Movie in 28 Countries

Chart data points to a strong launch, but there are still no official viewing or box-office figures.

Citing FlixPatrol data, ComicBook.com reported that Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender opened as the No. 1 movie on Paramount+ in the US and 27 other countries.

Paramount has released no viewership figures. There is also no official gross from the film's one-week, two-theater run, and viral posts claiming huge box-office numbers are not backed by any official source. Some posts mistook the film's reported budget for earnings.

Collider later reported the film at No. 1 on Paramount+'s worldwide movie chart over a late-August weekend, ahead of Top Gun: Maverick.
