Avatar Aang's Score Is Coming to Vinyl, with Preorders Opening October 29

Jeremy Zuckerman's score for Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender now has a vinyl preorder date. Milan Records' official store says preorders open October 29 at 12:00 AM ET, which is 9:00 PM PT on the evening of October 28.

It's a 2-LP set in a full-color gatefold jacket. Disc 1 is translucent Ultraclear vinyl and Disc 2 is translucent Light Blue. The store page singles out "Sonam's Song," "Return to the Eternal Wind" and "The Original Airbenders" as fan-favorite tracks.

For now the page is just an email sign-up for fans who want to hear when the record drops. It lists no price, ship date or retailer exclusives. When we went through the Blu-ray details earlier this week, the vinyl still had no date at all, so the preorder window is the first firm timing we've seen.

The score itself is already out digitally. Milan released Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender (Music from the Motion Picture) on July 24, the day before the film premiered on Paramount+. The album runs 36 tracks, and Milan says Zuckerman made it with a team of more than 200 people. In Milan's announcement, Zuckerman called the score "the height of the Avatar universe's music."

Our soundtrack page tracks every format, and the release radar has the other Avatar dates coming up.
