Aang Film Wraps and Is Renamed Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender
The new title appeared on screen at the cast-and-crew screening, weeks before the leak.
Production on Avatar Studios' first film ended with a wrap party and cast-and-crew screening on March 7, 2026, where the new title appeared on screen. Konietzko said new branding would be announced soon. The film had been called The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender since April 2025.
Director Lauren Montgomery marked the end of the four-year project and said publicly that the film deserved to be seen on a big screen, three months after Paramount moved it from theaters to Paramount+.
Some coverage later linked the retitle to the April leak, but the new title had been shown weeks before the leak.
