Faith Erin Hicks and Peter Wartman's Next Book Shows Zuko Becoming the Blue Spirit

Enter the Blue Spirit arrives February 23, 2027 from Dark Horse.

Dark Horse has announced Avatar: The Last Airbender—Enter the Blue Spirit for February 23, 2027. Early in his exile, Zuko and Iroh come across a forgotten Fire Nation colony on the Earth Kingdom coast. When the Fire Nation demands more of the village's ore, Zuko wears the Blue Spirit mask for the first time to protect it.

The 80-page paperback costs $13.99. Writer Faith Erin Hicks, artist Peter Wartman and colorist Adele Matera return from Jet: Rebels and Rhinos, which came out in September. Dark Horse posted its official announcement on October 8.

Dark Horse describes both books as standalones. A fan-wiki summary of Hicks' newsletter says a third villain-focused book will follow, but the publisher has not announced one.
