Jet: Rebels and Rhinos Shows How the Freedom Fighters Began

Dark Horse's newest Avatar graphic novel is an origin story for one of the show's most divisive characters.

Avatar: The Last Airbender—Jet: Rebels and Rhinos is out from Dark Horse. After Colonel Mongke's Rough Rhinos destroy his village, a young Jet gathers displaced kids into the Freedom Fighters and chases revenge. When the chance finally comes, he has to choose between vengeance and the family he has built.

Faith Erin Hicks wrote it, Peter Wartman drew it and Adele Matera colored it. The 80-page paperback costs $13.99 and was first announced February 17.

The same team's next book, Enter the Blue Spirit, arrives February 23, 2027.
