Kya Gets Her Own Korra Graphic Novel, and Sokka Teaches Boomerang in Chibis Vol. 2

Dark Horse released two Avatar books on July 28. In The Legend of Korra: Kya and the Secret of the Sand, by Kiku Hughes and Alexandria Monik, Aang and Katara's daughter Kya tells a recovering Korra about a trip in her youth to the Si Wong Desert town of Liyuan, where she went to teach healing.

Avatar: The Last Airbender Chibis Volume 2: Sokka's Boomerang Class, by Kelly Leigh Miller and Ruka Ito, is a 48-page hardcover for ages 5 to 8 in which Sokka runs a day of boomerang school for his bending friends.

Kya is the second standalone Korra graphic novel, after 2025's The Mystery of Penquan Island.
