The Kyoshi Warriors Miniseries Wraps, and More Is on the Way

Writer Brandon Hoàng says he's writing more Kyoshi Warriors and a new Korra comic.

Dark Horse's three-issue miniseries Avatar: The Last Airbender—The Kyoshi Warriors ended on July 15. Written by Brandon Hoàng and drawn by BellBessa and Xanthe Bouma, it follows Suki and her warriors after they leave Kyoshi Island to fight on the Earth Kingdom mainland under General Andal. The story fills the gap between Suki's first two appearances in the animated series.

After the Comic-Con publishing panel on July 24, Hoàng posted that he had told fans he is writing more Kyoshi Warriors comics and a new Legend of Korra comic. Dark Horse has not announced titles, artists or dates for either.

A Volume 1 paperback collecting all three issues (80 pages, $13.99) arrives November 10.
