Gallery Nucleus Changes Avatar Aang Panel Tickets to $60 with an Art Book Included
The October 21 on-sale date and $10 signing fee are gone from the gallery's page, and the November 21 panel is capped at 130 guests.
Gallery Nucleus has changed the panel tickets for its Avatar Aang tribute show, so parts of our October 13 story are out of date. We reported $15 tickets going on sale October 21 at 1 p.m. Pacific, a $10 fee per signed item and free entry with an RSVP. The event page no longer says any of that.
The panel and signing with artists who worked on Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender still runs November 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. PT. The page now lists:
- General admission is $60 and includes one unsigned copy of the artbook, handed out at check-in. The page doesn't say which book it is.
- The panel is limited to 130 guests, and seating is first come, first served.
- E-tickets are "available TBD," with a link coming soon, so there's no on-sale date yet. The limit is two per person, and all sales are final.
- Each guest can have up to two items signed, and at least one must be a copy of the artbook. Sketches, shikishi boards, sketchbooks and blank paper aren't allowed. No separate signature fee is listed.
- Panelists and signing artists are listed as TBA.
The 5 to 8 p.m. opening reception costs $5 with an RSVP, and admission is free November 22 to December 6. The gallery is open noon to 8 p.m. and closed Mondays.
Unchanged: the show at 210 East Main St. in Alhambra runs November 21 to December 6 with 46 tribute artists, including Lauren Montgomery, Faith Erin Hicks, Sara Kipin, Justin Ridge and Joey Chou. The artwork goes on sale online to Patreon members on November 20 and to the general public on November 22 at 12:01 a.m. PT.
We'll update the exhibition page and release radar once tickets go live.
