Netflix's Live-Action Avatar Wraps Filming on Its Final Season

Seasons 2 and 3 were shot back to back and are now both in post-production.

Netflix marked the end of production on its live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender with a set photo of the core cast. Seasons 2 and 3 were filmed back to back, mainly in Vancouver, and both moved into post-production.

Netflix ordered both seasons together in March 2024, making Season 3 the ending to match the animated show's three books.

Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani have led the show since April 2024, when Season 1 showrunner Albert Kim stepped back to an executive producer role.
