Seven Havens Chapters 4 to 6: The Biggest Reveals About the Twins and Ellora

A spoiler breakdown of "The Faceless," "The One Left Behind" and "Night of the Afflicted": the twins' past, Ellora's fear crisis and a new power.

Spoilers for Chapters 4 to 6 of Avatar: Seven Havens follow.

Chapters 4 to 6 arrived on Paramount+ on October 16. The story stays in Ellora, but the twins learn plenty about their past.

Pavi lost her leg recently

In Chapter 6, Pavi feels pain in a leg she doesn't have. A doctor diagnoses phantom limb pain and concludes she lost the leg within the past few years, Fiction Horizon reports, although Pavi believed she was born without it. IGN says the doctor eventually delivers a new prosthetic. Any link to the Harshlands is unconfirmed.

Their parents contacted the White Lotus

In Chapter 5, the twins open a secret door in the archives and find a message from their parents asking Karthik to find Nisha in the Harshlands, according to FandomWire. Pavi isn't mentioned, which makes her doubt her parents even knew she was an Avatar. The twins also find green-gem jewelry that matches a piece Pavi wears. IGN says the discovery shows their parents were trying to hide the girls and had contacted the Order of the White Lotus.

Fiction Horizon fills in Karthik's side: three years ago he was told to go to a pickup point and look for a girl wearing a green gem. A storm delayed him, and he found only Nisha.

The Faceless are taking benders

The masked figures from the end of Chapter 3 are the Faceless, raiders who hit Ellora's food supplies every few weeks. In Chapter 4, Jae and the twins hunt for missing Bending Brigade member Uki (Kimberly Woods), then fail to stop a raid at the Western Gates. The Faceless escape with supplies and a tied-up Uki, FandomWire reports, and more benders vanish after that.

New waterbender Daemin recognizes the twins' lullaby as a tune Uki sings constantly, Fiction Horizon says. She is still missing.

The Afflicted

During the raid, a Brigade member sees the twins use more than one element, and rumors spread that the Brigade is hiding an Avatar. That witness turns out to be afflicted by the red Anomaly, which has left spreading red crystals in Ellora. Fiction Horizon says the Afflicted are people exposed to the crystals and gripped by fear and violent hallucinations. Among them are Bountan, the Brigade's former commander, and Lan. Karthik concludes that fear is the root cause.

The twins can energybend

In Chapter 6, the Anomaly shows Pavi and Nisha another memory of their parents before the twins dispel it with energybending, a skill GamesRadar+ notes was traditionally learned only from past Avatars or lion turtles. Michael Dante DiMartino told the outlet, "That's definitely a big part of their story." More on the energybending reveal and why the Anomaly may not be Vaatu.

Ellora calls for help

After frightened benders protest over their missing colleagues, Jae persuades Chancellor Kayoko to make the call. Chapter 6 ends with her radio message to any and all havens, saying Ellora needs help. Only Fiction Horizon reports that Karthik had already kept illegal contact with another haven, Akasha, and had urged Kayoko to reach out. IGN thinks the other havens will likely come to Ellora rather than the twins going to them.
