Seven Havens Chapter 3 Recap: "The Order"
A secret society returns, a lullaby unlocks a memory, and masked strangers set their sights on Ellora.
Full spoilers for Chapter 3 of Avatar: Seven Havens.
Chapter 3 is the first episode with the full opening titles, and it finally points the twins toward a bigger story.
The Order of the White Lotus Jae stumbles onto a secret: Karthik belongs to the Order of the White Lotus, the society that has guided Avatars for generations. The Order now protects the twins, and Jae joins it to help train them. Fans will spot familiar faces on the Order's photo wall, including Iroh, Jeong Jeong and Pakku.
With Commander Bountan hurt in the attack, Karthik becomes commander of the Bending Brigade. He proposes asking the other havens for help, since fewer benders are born every year, but Ellora's leaders reject the idea and insist the city can stand on its own.
A song from home The twins disagree about training. They calm an armadillo-camel corrupted by the red energy, which rolls through town like a pill bug. Then Pavi plays a tune on her kalimba, and both girls recognize it: a lullaby their mother sang. Pavi agrees to train, and the sisters ask Karthik to help find their parents, who may still be alive. He agrees and puts Jae in charge of their training.
The episode also introduces Datu, Jae's boyfriend, voiced by Topher Ngo.
Who's watching? The final shot shows three masked figures looking down on Ellora. Nobody has said who they are.
Chapters 4 to 6 arrive October 16. Previously: Chapter 2.
