Seven Havens Chapter 2 Recap: "Into the Storm"
Two sisters, one secret and a storm that hits Ellora hard. Here's everything that happens in the second episode.
Full spoilers for Chapter 2 of Avatar: Seven Havens.
Chapter 2 answers the cliffhanger right away, and then throws the whole city into chaos.
Two Avatars The girl Pavi found is Nisha, her twin sister, voiced by Aishu Devan. Captain Karthik has secretly trained Nisha as the Avatar for three years, and he has kept her hidden: she isn't even allowed to bend in public. Neither twin remembers her early childhood.
When Pavi shows what she can do, Karthik realizes he has two Avatars on his hands. Asked whether there have ever been twin Avatars, he says there haven't. He also explains how Ellora sees Korra: as an enemy of the world who caused the Cataclysm. Pavi pushes back with a more hopeful view of what an Avatar can be.
The storm Karthik wants Pavi to train with her sister. She calls herself a fluke and wants to go back to her cave, until a storm hits Ellora. Karthik orders the girls to hide, but Nisha goes out to help anyway. Pavi helps a family with a baby reach shelter, admits she's terrified, and joins her sister.
A strange energy entity attacks the haven. Commander Bountan is hurt, and the twins combine their earthbending to beat it. IGN describes a pulsing red diamond that pulls the girls into another realm before it vanishes, leaving red crystals across the damaged city. Variety reads the entity as a version of Vaatu; the episode never says his name.
Sisters Afterward, a dazed Bountan warns that "It is coming." Pavi and Nisha decide to face the mystery together and race each other back to the compound.
Next: Chapter 3, "The Order". Previously: Chapter 1.
